My emphasis is on helping you develop awareness of yourself by teaching you to tune into your own inner wisdom. This allows you to develop the trust and confidence in yourself and in your abilities to resolve your difficulties on your own.

When we look at your past it’s always with the purpose of helping you make better sense of the present.

My approach is holistic and combines various techniques to address the needs of the body, mind, emotions and spirit.

These techniques include: cognitive behaviour therapy, body centered psychotherapy, breathwork, EMDR, relaxation and meditation.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy: helps you understand the relationship between thoughts, feelings, body sensations and actions and how to transform negative thought patterns.

Body Centered Psychotherapy: helps make the connection between the mind and body and teaches you to tune into your own wisdom and develop trust and confidence in your ability to resolve your difficulties on your own.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing: an innovative, internationally recognized technique for the fast and long lasting healing of traumas

Relaxation and Meditation: helps you interiorize your attention to develop self soothing strategies to access your inner resources to heal and to experience peace of mind and calmness.

Deep breathing techniques: helps create more vitality and energy in the body, overcome disordered breathing patterns common in people with anxiety and stress, as well as facilitate deep relaxation.

My 15 years of experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist includes working with anxiety, stress, depression and a variety of issues with thousands of clients.

My husband and I worked with couples for many years offering workshops and pre-marital classes.

I have led chronic pain programs in hospitals using meditation as the main focus.
